Hiring a JCB 1.5 Tonne Mini Digger

To hire a JCB Mini Digger from Green Plant, all you need to provide us with is a copy of your "Hired In Plant Insurance", what attachment you would like on the machine, the dates you require the Mini Digger and your credit card details (if you don't have a Green Plant account). If you would like to apply for an account, please download and print the Green Plant UK account application form below and send it back to us.


Don't forget to advise us if you also need to hire a trailer.


On the day of hire, the fully serviced machine will be ready for pick-up from our Guildford depot from 8am. When you arrive to pick the machine up, you will be shown how to operate the machine safely. Depending on the length of the hire, it may also be possible to arrange delivery - please call us on 01483 235111 to discuss your requirements.


*All Hire machines MUST be returned by 4:30pm on the last day of the hire***

JCB 8016 CTS Mini Digger

The JCB 8016 is equipped with:

Available Attachments

When you hire a JCB Mini Digger from Green Plant, you will need to specify which one of the following attachments, you require on the machine: 6" Bucket, 9" Bucket, 12" Bucket, 24" Bucket, 3 ft Grading Bucket, Auger with 6" flight or 12" flight.


GP Buckets

Available in the following sizes: 6",  9", 12" or 24"

- A rolled top section increases structural integrity

- Side plate reinforcement offers additional strength and rigidity

- Replaceable wear parts increase durability and extend the working life

- Pivot pins/ kits available to enable quick hitch mounting for increased productivity

- The GP bucket range has been designed using Finite Element Analysis throughout the engineering process


Grading Bucket

This bucket has been designed with drain holes that reduce weight and density during operation




Available  in the following sizes: 6" or 12" flights

- Sealed planetary gear reduction with heavy duty gear design provides long life and minimal maintenance with low service costs
- Reverse rotation for quick back out, which aids in shedding material from the auger bit
 - Hydraulic relief valve protects the unit from damage if auger comes in to contact with a large immovable object,
